Product Summary
This product is similar to our Joint
Repair Kit Under Pressure but the butyl rubber tape is not needed or
included to fill a joint!

Instructions Contents:
Rubber Tape, Syntho-Glass Fiberglass Cloth
1.) Apply the adhesive section of the rubber tape 2" to 3" farthest
from the crack or hole. Begin wrapping the tape stretching it to maximum
tension. Apply 3 wraps over this section working inward towards and over the
crack or hole, go past it 2" to 3" then work your way back and forth
using the entire roll until satisfied the leaking has stopped. Now remove
adhesive strip from the end of the roll and anchor the rubber tape to the pipe. Do
not remove adhesive strip until leak is stopped. If leak has not
stopped unwrap & rewrap the pipe until it is stopped with the rubber tape if
necessary use a second roll of rubber sealing tape from another kit or you may
purchase the rubber tape separately.
2.) Once satisfied the leak is sealed you can apply the Syntho-Glass
fiberglass cloth contained in the foil pouch to make the repair permanent. If
you want to replace the coupling do not apply the fiberglass cloth because it
sets rock hard in thirty minutes. Instead consider freezing the pipe using the Savair
mini Freezer for pipes up to 1", Savair Pipe
Freezer for pipes up to 2", or FREEZALL -
Portable Do-It-Yourself Pipe-Freezing Equipment like the Freezall Pro-Plug
jacket kit for larger pipes from 2-1/2" to 6". All operated using
ozone safe liquid CO2. We do not recommend using CO2 operated kits for 8"
or larger pipes. Ask us about our liquid nitrogen pipe freezing services nation
wide.
