Do not directly touch the cut end with finger or hand. Wear protective gloves.

Make sure rod fits precisely on the threads of the dies when cutting to avoid chipping the die.

Be sure to keep all bolts, nut and pins on your cutter properly tightened.

Always install or remove the dies with the handle in the closed position. Installing or removing dies with the handle lifted may result in injury should the dies drop accidentally.

1. The dies are consumable parts. When both dies have become worn and are no longer suitable for use, purchase

and install replacement dies.

2. Remove hex bolts with a hex wrench and take out both dies.

3. Use a brush to remove chips and dirt attached to the die holder.

4. Place un-engraved faces toward each other.

5. Insert the prepared cutting materials (i.e. 3/8" rod) between dies, and then securely tighten the hex bolts.

6. These dies may be rotated after the dies get worn. Remove dies and replace with engraved faces toward each

other.

When replacing dies, insert with non-engraved faces

toward each other.

Improper installation will damage the dies.
